Attorney Bakhbava brings a unique perspective to Moynahan & Minnella due to the fact that she has legal training and work experience in both the United States and the Nation of Georgia and understanding of two legal systems (common law and civil law), with a strong interest in consulting with clients on both national and international transactions. She is fluent in several languages, including English and Georgian and proficient in Russian.

Attorney Bakhbava's primary focus is in the areas of corporate law, commercial transactions, international law and personal injury. At law school, she primarily focused on corporate law. She found the emerging markets course particularly interesting. In that class she focused on legal and regulatory structures affecting foreign investors seeking to participate in the development of emerging markets and completed a substantial research paper on Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline project, focusing on the security aspect of project financing.

She worked as a summer associate for DLA Piper, a leading international law firm in Tbilisi, Georgia and had direct experience with cross-border transactional works. After relocating to the U.S., Attorney Bakhbava worked with Seidl Law Offices in Virginia in the area of estate planning; conducted legal research regarding cross listing of shares by a company on one or more foreign stock exchange markets in addition to their domestic exchange listing; and, gained valuable litigation experience with the New Haven Superior Court during pretrial, trial and settlement proceedings.

Attorney Bakhbava has a combined Bachelors and Master's Degree from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University from Tbilisi, Georgia. After her relocation to the United States, she received her LL.M. (Master of Laws) and J.D. (Juris Doctor) degrees from University of Virginia School of Law. Attorney Bakhbava is licensed to practice law in Connecticut.

Attorney Bakhbava has volunteered for Legal Aid Justice Center, Central Virginia Legal Aid Society, Connecticut Legal Services and Stamford Laborer Wage Clinic.
