  • Requests for political asylum; Department of Labor business audits; I-9 compliance reviews; Naturalization; Immigration appeals; Nurses; Seasonal Workers; Federal District Court work, and various other immigration and U.S. Department of Labor issues.
  • Provide legal advice and representation to an IT software consulting company from its inception. Ensure compliance with U.S. laws and regulations with particular emphasis on the Department of Labor’s immigration mandates. Facilitate corporate growth from five (5) to over five hundred (500) consultants from India on contract with American firms.
  • Represent start-up computer consulting and software development firm as General Counsel and Account Manager. Establish legal framework for incorporating in Massachusetts. Review all legal documents, create contracts and establish human resource policies. Manage immigration issues related to procuring H1(b) Visas and Green Cards for IT consultants and software developers emigrating from India.
  • Represent corporations and individuals on immigration matters from case inception through State and Federal Court appeals, including requests for political asylum and deportation proceedings. Research statutes and case law; write briefs, motions and complaints; argue motions; and manage the discovery and trial preparation processes. Handle immigration arrangements for individuals coming to the U.S. from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Africa, Australia, China, and England.

He is also a member of the Connecticut Bar. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Massachusetts School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University.
